Denial.Smite Qualifies for Smite Pro League Season 2

Denial.Smite Qualifies for Smite Pro League Season 2Denial.Smite, formerly known as Five Angry Men, has officially qualified for Smite Pro League Season Two. During the Season Two Spring Qualifiers, which took place over the past three weekends, Denial.Smite showed its dominance through all three weeks. The team is made up of MacetodaFace, Shadowq, Shing, TheBest, and madmanmarc22, with Rushed as the head coach..

In the first week, Five Angry Men was soft seeded into the third seed, allowing them to skip directly to the Round of 16. After a quick match, Five Angry Men moved to the quarterfinals, where they defeated Team Nomad, and moved into the semifinals. The Semifinals match was between Five Angry Men and Eager Gaming, which after coming back from a 15,000 gold deficit, Five Angry Men was able to take a decisive victory from Eager, and move into the finals. Despite the momentum from their last match, Complexity was able to defeat Five Angry Men two games to zero, leaving the team with 60 qualifier points and an almost guaranteed soft seed for next week.

Week two saw Five Angry Men officially change to Denial.Smite, and the team was given the second seed for the week two qualifier tournament. Denial continued its dominant play despite the name change, defeating Keepo, Polyjuice, and Cognitive Gaming, respectively, and making their way to the finals match. Again, they would be put up against a Complexity team, and once again, Denial would fall two games to zero. Despite falling in the finals for a second week in a row, Denial.Smite had accrued 120 points, more than enough to qualify for the next stage of the qualifiers.

Week Three would put Denial.Smite in a round robin style pod, where they would play against Cognitive Gaming, Legion Gaming, and Polyjuice. Although coming off a 2nd place finish in last weeks qualifier, Denial would not take their foot off of the gas pedal, as they took three straight victories in their pod, and ended the qualifiers on a three game winning streak and officially qualified for the Smite Pro League Season Two Spring Split.

Denial Esports is more than pleased with the performance of the team so far, and we continue to expect amazing things from them in the future. You can keep up with the team as they compete in their first pro match against Complexity on this weekend.
